Junior Ranger Volleyball
Jr Ranger is a middle school program sponsored by Forest Lake Area Athletic Association and Lakes Volleyball. The program is for all incoming 7th & 8th grade girls who want to play volleyball
Our philosophy…..
to provide an opportunity for middle school girls to participate in the great game of volleyball, learn & enhance skills, learn time management, teamwork, all while having fun!!

August 29th -practice at Forest Lake Area High School south fieldhouse. All other practices will be at Forest Lake Area Middle School.
We do recognize that Tues. Aug 29th is open house at the middle school. Unfortunately, due to gym space and coaches schedules, we are not able to move practice to a different night or time. We will be holding practice that evening for those that are able to attend. We understand that some players may not be able to attend practice in order to attend open house.

******MANDATORY PARENT MEETING******
7TH GRADE Wed Aug 30th 6:45 cafateria-FLAMS
8TH GRADE Thurs Aug 31st 6:45 cafateria-FLAMS
Teams will be formed after the evaluations are completed. Coaches will communicate with the players.
Those 7th & 8th graders making our In House program will practice Mondays & Wednesdays after school from 2:30-4:15 pm.
In-house games are scheduled for Wed’s starting at 4 pm. Will have one travel date on 10/4/23 to LILA. Parents will need to get their athlete to LILA by 3:30 pm.
Those 7th & 8th graders making our Travel program will practice Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:30-4:15 pm.
These teams will travel & play in two playdates and one tournament on designated Saturdays.
Tentative playdates/competition dates 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14 (morning to early afternoon start times). The competition will be hosted around the Twin Cities Metro area with other area clubs. Parents are responsible for getting their athlete to and from these events. This costs an additional $75.

Oct 5, and Oct 12th practice will be at Forest Lake Area High School in the South fieldhouse. All other practices will be at Forest Lake Area Middle School
